Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course + Refresher
Initial class: 16 hours
Recertification class: 8 hours
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course is designed for providers working in emergency treatment, intensive or critical care, and other professionals who may need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency. The course includes training in 1-rescuer CPR / AED, defibrillation, airway management, rhythm recognition, IV/IO access, use of medications, cardioversion, transcutaneous pacing, and effective resuscitation team dynamics. The course is classroom-based with lecture, video teaching, and skills sessions. Upon successful completion of the course students will be mailed an ACLS provider course competition card valid for two years.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course

Initial class: 16 hours
Recertification class: 8 hours
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course is designed for healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies. The course includes recognition and treatment of infants and children at risk for cardio-pulmonary arrest, the systematic approach to pediatric assessment, effective respiratory management, validate skills for 1- and 2-person CPR and AED skills for infant and child, defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion, intraosseous access and fluid bolus administration, effective resuscitation team dynamics. The course is classroom-based with lecture, video teaching, and skills sessions. Upon successful completion of the course students will be mailed a PALS provider course competition card valid for two years.
