Bloodborne Pathogens Awareness
Class length: 1.5 hours
Bloodborne Pathogens Awareness is required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for all employees at risk for an occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials. Each employee must take this class at each place of employment and must re-certify every year. Some examples of employees who are required to take this class are: Anyone who performs medical care, firefighters, police officers, phlebotomists, and lifeguards.
