American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR

Recertification class: 3.5 hours
The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies of all age groups, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. This course is required for certain professions such as doctors, nurses, paramedics, EMT's lifeguards, police officers, medical and nursing students, emergency dispatchers, etc. Upon completion of a CPR course, you will be mailed an American Heart Association CPR certification card which expires 2 years from the date of issue.
American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR w/ AED
Initial class: 3 hours
Recertification class: 2.5 hours
The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR with AED training teaches the skills of CPR for victims, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and how to relieve choking (foreign-body airway obstruction). It also teaches how to recognize emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest and how to respond to them.The course includes adult/child CPR with mask, adult/child choking, adult/child AED use. Optional modules for infant CPR with mask and infant choking are available as a stand alone or in addition to the previous noted modules.
This course is designed for the general public, designated company first responders, child day care employees, and individuals needing credentialed training for job or regulatory requirements.Upon completion of a CPR course, you will be mailed an American Heart Association CPR certification card which expires 2 years from the date of issue.
